School Premises Manager - SEN School (Enfield)

Location: Enfield, North London
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, 7:45am - 3:45pm, 52 weeks per year
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:
Remedy Education is working closely with a fantastic SEN school in Enfield who are looking for a reliable and experienced Premises Manager to join their team.

This is a key position within the school, ensuring the site is safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained all year round. The ideal candidate will have strong practical and organisational skills and experience managing school facilities or a similar site.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Overseeing the maintenance, safety, and security of the school site

• Managing and supporting caretaking and cleaning staff

• Liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently

• Conducting regular checks on heating, lighting, and alarm systems

• Ensuring the site is compliant with all health and safety regulations

• Managing access to the site and holding keyholder responsibility

• Maintaining school grounds and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for staff and pupils

• Supporting the school with operational logistics as needed

About You:

• Previous experience as a Premises or Site Manager (school experience preferred)

• Knowledge of health and safety and building compliance requirements

• Practical maintenance skills and ability to work independently

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• A flexible and proactive attitude

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
