Remedy Education are looking for a Supply Head Chef to assist the Chef Manager on an ongoing period to develop the food operations within a prestigious Academy based in Stapleford Abbotts whilst the Head Chef is away. The successful candidate will also manage the many and various School events that take place, and also take responsibility for managing the catering in the absence of the Manager.

As Head Chef your key responsibilities include:

• Catering at a restaurant standard within a School environment
• Responsibility for the preparation, cooking and service of food to agreed standards and specification
• Ensuring full purchasing compliance and HACCP procedures are met in full
• Being the first point of contact for all food quality issues

As Head Chef you must have:

• Experience of managing a kitchen team
• Innovation and flair with a passion for food
• passion and drive to continuously improve the food operation
• Experience of managing food costs and adhering to budgets
• Good communication skills
