School Care Assistant - ASAP START - London Borough of Enfield

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a Personal care Assistant to support children within an SEN school based in Enfiled. The role will be working full-time to support students with moderate-severe Special Educational Needs who are in need of personal care such as feeding, washing, dressing and some medicating. Some students will be wheelchair bound and non-verbal.

The role will be based in a SEN school where most students will have 1:1 support if not 2:1 and will be in small groups and classes of a maximum of 10. Although this role is predominantly 1:1, there will be support when needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with disabilities within some vicinity; whether that's as a Support worker, Healthcare assistant, Teaching assistant or in personal life.

The role will be 8:30-3:45 during term time and is a long-term role, likely for the whole academic year
