Remedy Education are currently recruiting for School Administrator & Admin Assistant for a outstanding SEN School in Wandsworth.

This brilliant opportunity has arisen due to growing numbers of referrals in area. So you asking yourself what is the school like?

Well this is an independent specialist school for young people aged 8 to 19 years, the pupils that attend may have faced difficulties as a result of complex communication needs typically associated with Autism spectrum conditions and social and emotional needs.

At this school the staff help every young person to re-engage with learning and enjoy school life, with the specialist teaching and integrated therapeutic support, small classes and a nurturing approach, they give students a framework for breaking down barriers to learning.

The main duties for this role are:-

Provide administrative, and Organisational services to the school
Liaise with pupils, parents/careers
Take telephone calls and ensure accurate messages are recorded and passed on in a timely manner
Analyze and evaluate data and information and run reports - using Sims
Undertake word-processing and IT based tasks including operation of relevant equipment and advanced ICT packages
Organize meetings and take notes
Process forms, returns, etc., including those to outside agencies
Respond to reception and visitor enquiries
Monitor pupil attendance and run reports (Sims) and liaise with EWO
Assist with school orders- checking and distribution
Regularly handles cash, cash equivalents e.g. dinner monies, school visits
School dinner administration
