Role Overview
As a key member of the Reception team, you will:
- Support whole-class and small-group activities across the EYFS curriculum
- Assist with phonics and early reading sessions
- Provide 1:1 or small-group support for children with additional needs
- Help with personal care when required
- Encourage independence, curiosity, and confidence in young learners
- Participate in outdoor learning, including Forest School sessions
- Collaborate closely with a creative and experienced Early Years team committed to inclusion
About You
- Experience working in EYFS or Reception settings
- Confident delivering phonics and early learning interventions
- Patient, enthusiastic, and child-centred
- Comfortable supporting children with personal care
- Flexible, proactive, and able to thrive in a dynamic, outdoor-focused environment
