Croydon Families Assessment Service is the referral and assessment service in Croydon. The change of name embraces the new ways the Service works with families - supporting families to identify family led plans at the beginning of the social work intervention, while the statutory children and family assessments of need, Section 47 enquiries are completed alongside the social work intervention.

Croydon are seeking experienced social workers to join the Service - applicants must have 3+ years of statutory social work within a referral and assessment service, understand the demands at the front door into statutory Children Services, have confidence in managing in risk assessing, working autonomously and be passionate about outcomes for children and their families.

Croydon continues to adopt a hybrid working pattern.
