Remedy Recruitment are looking to recruit a qualified social worker for a local authority based in South London

Remedy are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join a Community Mental Health Team - CMHT. 

The role is based within a specialist Mental Health team and is offering a competitive rate of pay. 

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience in a Mental Health role and knowledge of the relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act.

Your duties will include:

• Ensuring assessments are accurate and service users are able to self-direct the assessment process and make informed decisions
• Ensuring all commissioning is undertaken that provides users with appropriate levels of support whilst further ensuring that the user and council receive best value for money and that services that are committed appropriate reflect eligible needs and take into account available resources
• Effective crisis intervention work
• Using local knowledge and professional experience to make decisions that uphold autonomy whilst recognizing the social work role for safe intervention

You will be:

HCPC registered
Eligible to work in the UK
