Remedy Recruitment Group are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join Richmond's Children's POD team.

About the service:

Achieving for Children's Social Work Bank Support Team offers in-house support to our dynamic statutory social work teams who may be in need of additional support. Bank social workers are valued equally to our full-time staff and are expected to contribute to the assessment, planning and reviewing of vulnerable young people and families. Appointed individuals will be expected to work across all localities of the service including Twickenham, Kingston, Richmond and Chessington supporting our teams including: Referral and Assessment, Safeguarding, Children Looked After, Disabled Children's Team, Youth Resilience Service, Adoption and Fostering, or Leaving Care Team.

About the role:

Our Social Work Bank Support Team offers qualified social workers a flexible working arrangement to work around your personal circumstances, whilst providing you with exciting opportunities to develop your skills and experience. Successful applicants will be expected to provide flexible and ad-hoc support across any of our Children's Social Work teams when required. Successful applicants are not expected to be experienced in all areas of children's service social work. Teams you could have the opportunity to support include; All of our social work roles work in partnership with children, young people and those connected to them, in order to co-create plans that meet the identified need. Our Bank workers may wish to undertake short term or long term duties. This may include but not limited to; ● Undertaking child and family assessments ● Carrying out child protection enquiries ● Duty Tasks ● Direct work with children and young people ● Chairing Child in Need and Core Group Meetings ● Attending out of borough visits
