Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to work within a Child Locality Team for a Local Authority based in North London.

Duties Include:

• Experience of working on a duty
• Carrying out Section 47 Investigations
• Undertaking statutory visits to children and recording these on the ICS
• Direct work with children Multi-agency/professional working
• Working in a high paced team
• Completing child and family assessments
• Liaising with Clients and Professionals/Agencies
• Chairing Child Protection Core Groups
• Completing Court Statements and managing cases in Care Proceedings/meeting court deadlines prior to case transfer following initial hearing Team Duty SW on rota Developing CIN/ CP plans Reports Writing Section 37
• Risk Assessments
• Attending strategy discussions
• Attending Initial Child Protection Case Conferences & Child in Need meetings Chairing CIN/CP meetings and preparing a record

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
