Qualified Social Worker - Bradford MB Council - Child Exploitation Team - Up to £35ph!

We require an experienced social worker specialising in the area of child exploitation. As a social worker joining our Exploitation Hub you will be required to ensure an effective multi agency response to the prevention and protection of children at risk of exploitation. It is essential that you have the assessment skills to review new and existing referrals and risk assessment where children are considered to be at risk of exploitation. You will need to have a good understanding of contextual safeguarding and determine level of risk and interventions required for young people and their families. You will be required to arrange mapping meetings and to ensure that young people have disruption plans in place to support a reduction in their risks.

Bradford is currently rated inadequate and has its improvement journey well under way. We can guarantee you quality supervision and opportunities for mandatory training in house. The Exploitation Hub is a new and innovative multi agency service which is currently in its early stages of development. You will be a member of a multi-agency team of 4 social workers, police, health and partner agencies who support and delivers direct support to young people.

The office is located in Bradford City Centre, Sir Henry Mitchell House with parking available on street and local multi-storey car parks close by. You will be provided with IT equipment that will enable you to work virtually and within the office.
