Job description
Remedy Recruitment Group are recruiting Qualified Social Workers for an Adults & Older people team on behalf of a local authority based in North London.
This is a locum position starting immediately for a minimum of 3 months.

Main duties as a Qualified Social Worker within an Adults team include:
• Working with vulnerable adults including learning disabilities, physical disabilities and elderly clients
• Undertaking assessments and reviews
• Intervening and providing help to an individual or family where ongoing professional support is needed
• Building relationships with individuals and families who find it difficult to engage with services but need support to develop or maintain independence or autonomy.
• Promoting social justice and rights by challenging neglect, discrimination and exclusion
• Recording, investigating and responding to safeguards and complaints
• Enabling an adult who has been neglected or abused to improve their circumstances
• A full understanding of the Mental Capacity Act
You will need:
HCPC registration
2 years experience in relevant post.
