Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to work within an Adults Safeguarding Team for a Local Authority based in Berkshire.

Job Purpose

To undertake person-centred assessment and planning in order to ensure that the individual has the best quality of life possible, taking into account any prevailing mental health and/or physical needs.

To ensure that the social care needs of people are met, within the eligibility criteria of the department, by working in partnership with people who use the service, their carers, professionals and other agencies, and service providers.

To meet the complex and often changing needs of people who use our service.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered

Eligible to work in the UK

2+ years experience within a statutory service

Significant experience in statutory mental health (6 months minimum), preferably in the community

Must have a full driver's license, and access to a car with business insurance

Good knowledge of Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act, Equality Act, Human Rights Act, Care Act.
