Job description

Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to work within an Adults Safeguarding Team for Ealing Council.

Job Purpose

This post is for a qualified social worker who has experience in safeguarding adults work and is familiar with relevant legislation relating to safeguarding and MCA. The role requires good report writing skills and the ability to conduct safeguarding enquiries and convene meetings as set out by the Pan London guidance. The role will be bases in the safeguarding team and will involve having a case load/conducting enquiries and also working on duty and receiving referrals which need screening to determine whether the case warrants a safeguarding s.42 enquiry an d is able to use the making safeguarding personal principles.
A generic role profiles is attached however this role is within the specialist safeguarding team and requires 35 hours from 9 am to 5pm working remotely during lockdown and visiting customers if required which will be risk assessed prior to visit and PPE equipment will be provided.

Essential Requirements
* The applicant must have good prior experience of safeguarding
* Have good written and verbal skills and write reports including court reports
* Work remotely and conduct occasional visits following risk assessment and health and safety assessment
* Must work 35 hours 5 days per week

You will need to be:

HCPC registered

Eligible to work in the UK
