Key Responsibilities

  • Experienced Mental Health Social Worker needed for Neighbourhood 2 Primary Care Mental Health Team. Based a stone's throw from Lee station, with excellent public transport links and local parking, this position offers hybrid working and the opportunity to engage with our diverse and vibrant local community.
  • Our social workers in PCMHTs work alongside NHS colleagues triaging referrals and undertaking assessments, engagement and brief interventions and leading on statutory intervention including Care Act assessments and safeguarding.
  • The successful candidate will have: experience of adult mental health casework in a community mental health setting, strong assessment and engagement skills, knowledge of clinical and social issues and the management of risk in relation to mental health service-users - experience of working within the statutory framework of the CA 2014, MHA 1983 and MCA 2005, the ability to manage a caseload in an integrated multi-disciplinary service undertaking fast-moving casework and regular MDT duties on rota, experience of carrying out a range of assessments and interventions including adult safeguarding.

What you need:

  • QSW Status - including qualification, Social Work England registration and completed ASYE
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Right to work in the UK
