Job description

Our client, Manchester City Council, is looking for a Qualified Social Worker, to join their Adult MASH team.

  • Worker needs at least 3 years social work experience ideally with adults
  • Needs to know and have experience in adults Safeguarding - Mash is a very busy team with a high volume of referrals
  • Multi agency team who are based together in same office i.e health/police/mental health
  • Worker will be screening, rag rating referrals, making contact with citizens, referrers etc - completing MSP, Mash enquiries etc, communicating with other agencies/professionals etc.
  • Worker needs to be able to prioritise referrals, be able to make responsive, timely decisions, have good recording skills, collaborate with other Mash partners, enjoy being part of a team, there is Senior/Management advice and support available.
  • This is a part time role in that it is 21hours per week - working days - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday each week.
