A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a Special Educational Needs school who are seeking to appoint teaching assistants with an in-depth knowledge and experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.

This SEN school caters for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs. This role requires a teaching assistant to work with pupils with SEMH, Physical Disabilities and Autism 1:1 and in small groups.

The post would suit a Psychology graduate wanting to gain experience and utilise their degree in Child Development. Those with experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs are also required.

We are looking for an individual who;

• Has knowledge of SEMH, Physical Disabilities and Autism
• Experienced in PEC's, Makaton and British Sign Language is Desirable (not essential)
• Has excellent communication skills
