We are actively recruiting for a psychology graduate to undertake a Learning Support Assistant role within an enriching special school in Lambeth.

This role is to start as soon as you are compliant and accept the role. Can you make the student's life just that little bit better today?
This specialist school provide for children with Autism and Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues.
Your role will be to motivate, support and encourage pupils within your remit.
The role will give you experience with SEN and some Anti-Social Behaviour. Excellent if you are sincere about a future career within mental health.
The role will consist of;
- Working with EYFS, Primary, and Secondary aged students all with EHCPs with Autism and Aspergers, OCD, verbal and non-verbal children
- Dealing with anti-social behaviour that will take getting used to, this is all part of the role when aiding society's most
- A Real focus on Early Years and Non-Verbal students, holistic techniques to gain engagement
- Supporting Secondary aged students with levels of learning well below their stated age
- Positive engagement, giving the children a sense of acceptance, talking therapy will not always work here so different approaches required
