Job description
My client is a vibrant Alternative Provision situated in Wandsworth. They are looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Learning Support assistant / LSA to join them in September 2019.
I am currently seeking a confident and resilient Learning Support Assistant / LSA who is able to show initiative and support on a 1:1 and small group basis. You will have experience and a keen interest in supporting students and the challenges that arise within the classroom.
The school is commutable from Central London, SW London, SE London and Surrey. They have a wonderfully supportive Head Teacher and SLT who will support and guide you within your career in education.
The ideal candidate will have experience with challenging behaviour within an Alternative Provision, or Pupil Referral Unit. They also welcome candidates with experience in a mainstream school within their exclusion unit.
You will be responsible for supporting students within the classroom and will need to have proven behaviour management experience. You will also have a calm and patient manner and have a passion for working to help encourage students to achieve the best of their ability

Proven classroom and behaviour management experience
SEN experience, desirable
