PRU Primary Teacher - Islington, North London

Remedy Education are looking for a qualified primary teacher to join one of our PRU's in Islington. You will be teaching students with challenging behaviour who need extra emotional support.

Our amazing school is based in Islington and are looking for someone to start ASAP.

The successful applicant will have the passion a drive to inspire KS2/3 students who have behavioural difficulties. You will need to be motivational and experienced in your line of work maintain a professional attitude when delivering your lessons. You will always be with a minimum of 1 teaching assistant in all lessons and will have the support offered whenever necessary. You will be teaching a class of up to 8 students a mix of both male and female. The successful candidate will need to be experienced within working in a PRU setting and must have had a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a qualified teacher.

The school has excellent facilities and does a lot of work outside of school getting the kids out of class and taking part in activities outside of the school. All staff participate in training to allow the school to create a learning environment based upon the principles of ABA. The school have high expectations of the students and of themselves ensuring students gain the qualifications they need to prepare them for the world of work ahead of them.
