Job description

Swindon Borough Council are looking for a Project Manager to join there Family Safeguarding team.

Swindon has been successful in securing grant funding through the Children's Social Care Innovation Fund to implement Family Safeguarding - a model of service delivery that aims to transform outcomes for children who are experiencing the impact of domestic abuse, parental mental ill-health, parental alcohol problems, and substance misuse. This is an opportunity to support a multi-disciplinary project, involving a wide range of stakeholders. The model will involve practitioners working in multi-disciplinary teams with adult specialist workers responding to complex issues of domestic abuse, mental health and substance misuse. It involves a number of complex areas of change e.g. staffing, practice and IT. We are now recruiting for Project Management cover to lead the Project through the preparation and initial implementation phase. Experienced required: Proven track record of delivering and supporting complex projects and programmes, and be able to demonstrate the use of project management methodologies and tools to support project delivery. Ability to work with project stakeholders from within or external to the organisation to drive delivery forward with confidence. You must be to demonstrate how you are proactive and robust in the delivery of projects to end goal.
