Haringey Council are looking for a Project Manager (Construction)
1. The post holder will work closely with permanent, contract, agency and/or project staff as funding and delivery requirements dictate in a Project Management Team of up to 3 staff. They will work across the Council, with external contractors, service providers; other partners and with local communities to maximise outcomes. 2. The Senior Project Manager will manage and be responsible for the successful delivery of significant, large and complex projects to construct, refurbish, adapt, and maintain Haringey's council's estate in line with corporate objectives, and government legalisation. They will assume a proactive role, working with the project team to deliver high quality and value for money projects using effective project management techniques, to deliver on council priorities and regeneration and property-related objectives. Ability to project manage medium to high value (project value from £1,000.000 to £10,000,000 or more) and/or medium to high complexity (Construction stage will be delivered in a single or multiple phases; change will have a impact on council business activity; and or members may show some interest and /or have a role in shaping the project) capital projects (predominantly construction related) from inception to completion. 3. To provide project management and programme management support services, such as quality assurance, as and when required for other Council delivery projects and programmes. 4. To lead on construction related project delivery on major new build, refurbishment and or condition schemes within the council.
