We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join A high needs SEN class in Tottenham. This is a fantastic chance to work in a nurturing and inclusive school that prioritizes the well-being and development of its pupils.
About the Role
- Teach a small class of primary-aged children with a range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and communication difficulties.
- Deliver a creative and differentiated curriculum tailored to the needs of each child, fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Work closely with a skilled team of LSAs, therapists, and the SENCO to provide holistic support.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary or SEN settings.
- A strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support diverse learning needs.
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for working with children who require additional support.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
