EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant - Enfield
Location: Enfield, North London
Pay: £95 - £115 per day
Start: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, term time only

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a caring and dedicated EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Enfield from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping them develop key skills in a nurturing and structured environment.

The Role

As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs

• Support children with SEN such as ASD, speech & language needs and developmental delays

• Assist with early learning activities including phonics, numeracy and play-based learning

• Help create a safe, engaging and stimulating classroom environment

• Support children with their social, emotional and behavioural development

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support plans

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with EYFS pupils or early years settings

• Has experience supporting children with SEN

• Is patient, nurturing and enthusiastic

• Has strong communication and behaviour management skills

• Can use initiative and adapt to the needs of individual pupils

• Has a genuine passion for early childhood development

Experience with phonics programmes and early years frameworks is highly desirable.
