SEN Teacher - KS2 (Small Class Setting)
Location: London
Pay: £190 - £230 a day
Start: 13th April 2026 - 20th July 2026
Contract: Full-time, one term

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a vibrant and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school for a one-term cover role working within KS2.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a small, supportive class environment, making a real impact on pupils with additional needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Teach a KS2 class with a maximum of 6 pupils with mixed abilities

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs

  • Create a hands-on, interactive learning environment, incorporating play and practical activities

  • Support pupils with a range of SEN needs including ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties

  • Work closely with support staff to ensure pupils are fully supported

  • Promote positive behaviour, engagement and independence

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • At least 2 years' experience working with SEN pupils

  • Experience working within small groups or specialist settings

  • A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to fully engage in all aspects of school life

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
