MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Premises Manager is a key member of the school's staff and has a vital role to play in the management of a safe, secure, clean, warm and happy learning environment, through planning, managing and doing. The Premises Manager works with the School Business Manager and other staff to prioritise, plan and schedule work to ensure that the building is safe and looks and feels its best at all times. The Premises Manager sets high working standards across the school and for those that they supervise and is proactive, works on one's own initiative and manages work load effectively.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

The Premises Manager is responsible to the head teacher and School Business Manager for the upkeep of the school premises, to provide a safe, secure, clean and warm environment for all site users and visitors. All duties carried out will be completed to the best of their abilities.
