Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Practice Leader to work within a Children's Social Care and Safeguarding Team for a Local Authority based in East London.

Overall Purpose -

To lead a social work unit of staff, delivering a high quality effective social work service that promotes the safety and well being of children contributes to the development of resilient communities and supports positive outcomes for vulnerable children and their families.

Qualifications

Recognised social work qualification

HCPC registered

Evidence of continuing professional development in line with the Skills and Knowledge for Social Workers

Experience

• Experience in dealing with complex situations in practice and being able to meaningfully move cases forward and secure positive outcomes for children.
• Experience of chairing meetings including team meeting; strategy meetings; multi-agency professional and child in need meeting
• Experience of having worked successfully with staff, colleagues and others in supervisory or coaching/mentoring capacity.
• Demonstrable evidence of experience in dealing with complex situations in practice and being able to meaningfully move cases forward and secure positive outcomes for children.
