Our specialist school is currently seeking to appoint a Post 16 SEN Teacher. With an asap start date, this full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work with young people with complex needs and autism.

We're seeking a passionate Post 16 SEN Teacher to teach and manage a class of students on the autistic spectrum in 6th Form.

The Person - Post 16 SEN Teacher

• Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with pupils with special educational needs, or a proven interest in teaching pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties.
• Ability to differentiate curriculum delivery for pupils.
• Demonstrable skill in implementing individualized goals and objectives to address the core features of SEN.
• Ability to work as a member of a team as well as lead.
• Excellent personal organization, communication, and ICT skills
• Proven record of good to outstanding practice

The successful Post 16 SEN Teacher will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
