Job description

A SEND school based in Lambeth that caters for pupils aged between 3 and 19 with SLD and PMLD.

They require friendly, enthusiastic, motivated and reliable teaching assistants to join their support team. You will be required to provide general classroom support and may also be asked to work on a one to one basis or in small groups. Previous experience of working with PMLD or SLD is a requirement and all applicants must be willing to assist with personal care. Many of the children are non verbal and therefore the ability to use communication aids such as PECS and Makaton would be advantageous. Teaching assistants with, Moving and Handling, Manual Handling, Peg feeding and Medical Administration training are highly desirable.

This is a full time, long term role to start in September 2019.
