PMLD Teaching Assistant - The Role

If you have worked in a PMLD or SLD environment in the last 2 years, then we are eager to get you in front of our client. We require specialist PMLD teaching Assistant for several roles to start this September. You will work 1:1 or 2:1 with some of the most complex of students at the school and will be expected to assist with all daily tasks. This could include personal care, hosting and implementing communicate techniques. The nature of this environment is extremely demanding so it is a must to have a passion and desire to really make an impact.

PMLD Teaching Assistant - The school

This is a PMLD school situated in the Borough of Greenwich. They have 45 students enrolled and cater to all specialist needs. Most of their children have profound and multiple learning difficulties and medical needs so they have a need for specialist support assistants that has experience with first aid and oxygen tanks. They look for staff that can hit the ground running and have a real passion for working with these specialist needs.
