Remedy Education are looking for experienced and highly motivated SEN Teacher to work within a Special Educational Needs Schools based in East London.
If you are passionate about making a real difference to students with complex special needs then this is the perfect job for you!
You will be working with small groups of children or on a 1:1 basis so the pupils will have tailored learning experiences to support their needs. This opportunity starts in September 2021.
You will be working in a challenging yet rewarding environment with children that have a wide range of learning difficulties.
This means you must be dedicated, adaptable and understanding in a variety of situations that may occur in the classroom. It is also important you are an outstanding team player.
You need to be a natural leader to help guide the staff team to effectively meet the needs of PMLD students.
You must make sure that the pupils you teach are engaged with exciting lessons and have high expectations of pupil achievement.
This is a temporary role which will involve some lesson planning and cover.
PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training.
Experience teaching pupils with profound learning difficulties.
Experience teaching in Primary or Secondary within in an SEN setting.
Knowledge and understanding of complex health needs and the impact it has on the children's learning and lesson time.
