Personal Care Teaching Assistant - SEN School
Dagenham, East London
Full time or part time role available (9:00AM until 3:30PM)
Remedy Education are looking to recruit a teaching assistant for a local SEN School in Dagenham that are expanding their teaching assistant team. Have you worked in Education settings before? Have you had experience with caring for young children with an EHCP? Are you a caring and nurturing individual that has patience to support children and young vulnerable adults within an education setting? If so...the school are recruiting on behalf of referrals for young pupil's and are needing support staff that are passionate, empathetic, and forward thinking to support the team.
Job description
- Working and caring for children with an educational health care plan.
- Supporting and tailoring the curriculum and activities to support young pupils.
- Working with external agencies, the wider team and the senior leadership team to support the children for the best interest of them.
- Taking personal care of children and young adults.
The ideal candidate
- Up to date knowledge on safeguarding and how to keep children safe in Education
- Level 3 qualification in care, nursery or a teaching assistant qualification
- Worked in Education provisions for a minimum of 6 months in the UK
- Able to forward think and plan for activities where the child is not engaged
