PE Teacher - Sydenham - ASAP Start - long term post with permanent contracts available - PE Teacher for Key stages 3, 4 and 5.

We are looking for a phenomenal PE Teacher to join on our well-established SEN schools in South East London. school offers modern facilities and a great working environment. The PE department is looking for an experienced teacher to join them due to an internal promotion. The school prides itself on upskilling its staff through various CPD courses run by the Trust and promoting from within. You will deliver and assess P.E. lessons for 11-19-year-old pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties and/ or disabilities, as well as students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder

Role: PE Teacher - Secondary

Start: ASAP

Rates: £200-£230

Location: South London

Contract: Full time (Ongoing)

Rate: £200-220

Ideal Candidate:

  • Supervising and supporting pupils
  • Assisting in the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies
  • Supporting with behaviour management
  • Undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities to ensure achievement of learning goals
  • Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all children, supporting difference and ensuring that all have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.

Role requirements:

  • Experienced PE Teacher or instructor/cover supervisor with teaching experience for award-winning supportive and development
  • Driven Teacher looking to make an impact on an increasingly thriving department
  • QTS or NQT desirable but not essential over experience
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
  • Previous experience working in a SEN School or PRU (Ideal)
  • CV must cover a full work history until education
  • Legal right to work in the UK
