£160 - £180 per day

A PRU in Hammersmith and Fulham are looking for a Full time PE Teacher to work within their PE department from February 2020

The schools aim is to reduce the numbers of pupils who are permanently excluded from school by offering mainstream schools an alternative to exclusion.

They offer a range of interventions so pupils can be supported, either within their mainstream school or at the PRU. The Headteacher is now seeking a professional and committed PE Teacher to teach PE across the school at key stage 3 and 4 level.

The chosen candidate will ideally have worked with disengaged learners before but if you are simply passionate to teach students with SEBD then full training is provided to support you.You must be comfortable supporting young people with challenging behaviour.

To be successful in this position you will need:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* To specialise in PE (GCSE and/or BTEC)

* Excellent behaviour management skills

* To be able to effectively teach to smaller groups

* To be a positive and proactive team player

* To be adaptable to ever changing situations
