Are you a dynamic tutor/teacher who strives to make a difference to young people's lives?

Are you experienced working with excluded, EHE, NEET and SEND young people?

Remedy Education's Tutors department have an excellent opening for you in around the London Borough of Waltham Forest.

Working closely with local authorities, we have been commissioned to provide educational support to students falling into the following categories - Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (EAL) NEET, excluded, home educated, young offenders, teen parents, those with medical needs, challenging behaviour as well as SEMH and SEND students.

You would be working on a case by case basis, teaching in either the student's home or at a nearby outreach provision and should be a confident and empathetic educator.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • At least 2 years teaching or tutoring experience in the UK
  • A UK recognised teaching qualification
  • An up-to-date DBS that is on the Update Service
