Remedy Tutors are looking to recruit an outreach teacher to work with home schooled looked after children in and around the West Sussex area.
You must have experience of working on a 1:1 basis and working with vulnerable young people. Knowledge and skills to work with SEMH learners is desirable.
As an outreach teacher, you will deliver core subjects to students on a 1:1 basis. Students will be working at varying levels and abilities so you will need to plan and deliver lessons appropriately where you will be required to monitor their progress with weekly reports.
It is essential that you hold QTS or QTLS and are confident delivering Maths, English and Science to both KS3 and KS4 learners.
The hours are very flexible, whether you choose to do mornings, afternoons or evenings or if you would only like to work a few days per week. If you are looking for more of a full-time role, there will be opportunities where you can take on several students throughout the week.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in and/or would like more information about working as an outreach teacher, please contact Sandra @ Remedy Tutors.
