Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Team Manager to work within an Assessment and Care Management Team for a Local Authority based in East London.

Job Purpose

• To provide leadership and to manage a team of qualified and unqualified staff in the provision of home adaptations for independent living (HAIL) and interventions in order to deliver the key strategic aims of the organisation and to ensure that the customers have access to high quality services.

• To provide professional support to qualified and unqualified staff delivering equipment, assistive technology and adaptations

• To be accountable for the efficient operation of services and the overall quality of practice within the team, and work closely with quality assurance colleagues to continuously develop, improve and audit standards of practice.

• To ensure the principles of 'Putting People First' are fully embedded within the practice of the service and that all customers are fully supported to have the best possible opportunities and are supported to exercise choice and control to meet the outcomes they define.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered

Eligible to work in the UK
