Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to work within a Local Authority based in Essex. This is a part time position 2 days per week (15 hours). This is a fantastic opportunity to join their Community Occupational Therapist Adult Team.

Job Description/Responsibilities

• You will be required to carry out OT assessments, carrying a designated caseload
• Demonstrate the highest possible standards of practice and skills and to work independently within the confines of departmental policies and procedures
• The assessment and provision of equipment to meet a complex need. This includes adjustment of equipment and instruction on its safe use
• Acting as a source of consultation of junior staff within the team on professional and occupational therapy matters, with particular concern for the development of practice and the professional development of fieldwork staff
• To provide safe, efficient and effective occupational therapy services by ensuring continued professional development and life long learning. This includes an on-going responsibility to fieldwork placements for occupational therapy students

About you

• You must have experience within this team to be able to hit the ground running as you are required to deal with complex moving and handling cases
• Must be HCPC registered
