Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to work within an Adults Community Team for a Local Authority based in East London.

Job Purpose

To provide person-centred speciality Occupational Therapy service to enable older and disabled people to optimise and maximise their abilities to maintain their independence, within their homes and the local community. The post holder will be directly involved in reablement by using their knowledge and skills to develop and advise on rehabilitation plans, promoting the retail equipment market model promoting choice and Independence, as well as advising on the need for adaptations which will promote the independence of disabled Adults. To also provide support to management and development of the physical and sensory disability service, particularly through the provision of Occupational Therapy expertise.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered

Eligible to work in the UK

Experience and knowledge of adults safeguarding

Experience of single handed care

Excellent at decision making and communication skills an OT in the review team, no long term work, agile and flexible working (including working from home 1 day a week)
