Teach in the heart of London. A Reception Teacher is required for an outstanding school in South West London, Lambeth.

The School is a 2 form entry mainstream primary school based within walking distance to Oval Station - it is also serviced by multiple bus routes from central stations throughout London. The school is looking for a new reception class teacher to commence employment as soon as possible. Newly qualified and overseas trained teachers are encouraged to apply. The school offers strong leadership, excellent facilities, and a supportive head teacher.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, fun and energetic class teacher who is passionate about teaching and delivering exciting lessons. The headteacher encourages fresh ideas and creativity in lessons. You will need to demonstrate a creative lesson plan at interview stage. The class is supported by a long-standing teaching assistant and you will have additional support from the second reception teacher in school. You must work well in a team.

Note: Only teachers who hold Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) or QTS may be considered for this post. Teachers with equivalent qualifications may also apply. NQTs will have the opportunity to complete their induction year.

Ideally, you will be looking for a permanent position in a school that offers growth and excellent career prospects, however, teachers from abroad who can only commit for one full academic year will also be considered.
