Are you a qualified nursery nurse looking to move into the next stage in your career as a baby room leader or perhaps you are already a room leader and looking for a new setting?

We are working closely with a Nursery in Waltham Forest, which is seeking a room leader for their baby room to start immediately. This is a nursery is providing care for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.

They are seeking a qualified nursery nurse to lead the team in the baby room. You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the room, staffing and shifts and heading up the EYFS curriculum. You will be responsible for a team of nursery nurses and nursery assistants, so a high level of organisational skills is required.

The hours for the role is 40 hours per week and shifts are either 8am-6pm 4 days per week with 6 weeks holiday per year.

The school is seeking applicants who are enthusiastic, with good literacy and numeracy skills and very high levels of spoken and written English and experience in a baby room.

To be considered for this interesting opportunity, you MUST meet the following criteria:

You must be a qualified nursery nurse (Cache level 3, NNEB, level 3 Nursery Nurse etc)

Have experience in a baby room

Be available to work full time, throughout the year.

Have a positive, hard-working attitude and a good team spirit. You will need to be highly organized and have good leadership skills.

Have a very good working knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum and of phonics and be able to plan for your team.

Have a commitment and drive to help children to get a great start to their education, as well as nurturing newly qualified members of staff.
