Job description

Music Lead | ASAP Start | Greenwich

I am seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Music Teacher to lead this department.

Music forms one of the core pillars of this school, creative pupil engagement and achievement.

Music permeates the wider school environment and offers an extensive range of opportunities for students to involve themselves. We are proud of the number of students who actively participate and the standard of performance they attain.

The successful applicant will be proactive, creative, and well organised with the ability to model and promote outstanding teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will:

  • Join a forward-looking, high-achieving school.
  • Contribute to the wider improvement of the school.
  • Be a driven and professional person, committed to their students as well as supporting their colleagues.

In return, the school can offer a good working environment with opportunities and encouragement to develop both personally and professionally. Staff well-being is a high priority.

We are based in a fantastic location with excellent transport links including the DLR, Elizabeth Line and mainline railways.

This School is committed to safeguarding and protecting the well-being of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS is required for all successful applicants.
