Maths Teacher - SEMH School

Remedy Education are working with a specialist SEMH school in Islington who are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting As soon as possible.

The school supports students with social, emotional and mental health needs and has a strong performing arts focus, offering a creative and supportive environment where students are encouraged to engage with learning in different ways.

The role:

• Teaching Maths across KS3-KS4

• Planning and delivering lessons that are clear, practical and engaging

• Adapting lessons to meet the needs of students with SEMH

• Creating a calm, structured classroom environment

• Working closely with support staff to help students make progress

• Monitoring and assessing student progress

The school is looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS or equivalent

• Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level

• Is confident working with students with SEMH or similar needs

• Has good behaviour management and a calm, consistent approach

• Is patient, reliable and committed to supporting young people
