Job description
Remedy Education are working with a number of Primary Schools in the South East London who are seeking to recruit Maths and English Intervention TA's to work on both a short and longer term basis, once schools re-open again in March. We are looking for strong and proactive Teaching Assistants who can really make a difference when supporting those pupils who need these catch-up sessions.
Working hours: Mon-Fri 8.30-3.30pm
Daily rate: £70-75 per day
You will be supporting small groups of children across both Key Stage 1 and 2 with their Maths and English to help bridge the gap in their learning due to the school closures. You will work closely with the class teacher to create a calm, nurturing environment and a tailored learning approach to help the development of the pupils.
Responsibilities:
* To support children with varied learning needs and progress levels
* Lead and implement Maths and English sessions to small groups of children
* You will track their development and feedback to the class teacher
Required Skills & Experience:
* You must have previous experience of working with primary school aged children (aged 6-1) experience of delivering Maths and English Interventions or tutoring experience
* Certificate or qualification in CACHE L2/3, TA L2/3/4 OR degree in English/Maths
