A Primary School located in Waltham Forest, are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join them as soon as possible to work with a child in Reception, must be Makaton trained.

This is a full time position being offered on a year long contract.

This primary school is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who has particular experience working with children diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, Asperges and must be Makaton trained.

You will be required to work 1:1 with a child in Reception who has Autism. This is a year long role until July 2022 with the view of going permanent for the right candidate.

You will have access to excellent resources within this primary school to ensure that you are able to assist the class teacher in delivering a fun and engaging curriculum to this child.

It would be ideal if you have experience with Makaton or PECs.

For this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you must have a real passion working with SEN children and have some knowledge or experience working 1:1 with a child with ASD.
