A primary setting in Lewisham South East London are seeking a Makaton proficient 1:1 support for a non-verbal child. The role will involve developing a close working relationship with the child and helping them to communicate, communicating with them on behalf of others at the setting and to support the child in participation in daily nursery activities.

This is a long term position starting ASAP.

The post will involve providing lots of one to one support, supporting the class teacher in small classes, and helping with playground and lunchtime duties. You must have sound knowledge of Makaton and PECS. The very rewarding post requires hard work and commitment.
