Remedy Education are currently looking for an LSA to join an SEND provision within a post 16 college in South East London. The specialist provision has state of the art facilities catered for young adults with a wide range of special educational needs. They offer practical and vocational learning therapies that develop living, working and communication skills, enhanced by excellent facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, sports hall, physiotherapy facilities, art and crafts rooms and much more.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting young adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities and will be tracheotomy trained. Experience can be based within an education setting or we welcome applications from a care/support background.

Any one with specific training or certificates with the following would be highly advantageous;

- Peg training

- Tracheotomy training

- Manual handling

- Experience of PC

- Hoist experience

- Autism experience

- Use of assertive technology

- PMLD experience

- Behaviour management training

- Mental health experience

- Training with visual impairment

- Severe learning difficulties

- Epilepsy training

- Suction training
