BSL Teaching Assistant - South East London

The BSL Teaching Assistant will be working closely with students who have hearing impairment, on an individual basis and in small groups. The setting caters to students aged 4 - 11 years with hearing impairments in a purpose built resource Centre.

The school ideally want a BSL Teaching Assistant with BSL Level 3 or with good experience within the field. Part of the role will see you liaising with parents and outside agencies which is why they want to employ an excellent communicator, forward thinker and independent worker for this role.

You will be under the guidance of an Outstanding Leadership team and experienced Teachers who will give the BSL Support Specialist support and guidance throughout their time at the school. You will be tasked with assisting students complete learning activities and tracking students' progress through different attainment goals. You will be able to build effective relationships with children and above all, be a positive presence in the classroom.
