Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Complex Needs, PMLD/ASD

Greenwich, South East London

£75 - £85 per day

Are you passionate about supporting and inspiring young people? Are you looking for a dynamic and rewarding role where no two days are the same?

Remedy Education are looking for LSA's to join a large SEN secondary school based in Greenwich to start ASAP. Although previous experience is desired, this role is a great opportunity for candidates looking to explore a career within education.

The role of an LSA involves supporting children with a range of needs; those who struggle academically as well as students with complex needs. You will be supporting children in the classroom as well as separately in intervention sessions.

As an LSA at this school you will be provided with plenty of opportunities to develop your own skills, as well as being involved in wider school activities. You will be assigned with an experienced mentor who will ensure your career in education has the best possible start.

What were looking for in an LSA:

  • Have recent experience within a school or be a recent graduate with a desire to build a career within education
  • SEN experience desired
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Effective behaviour management
  • A DBS on the update service
