Job description

Remedy are looking for a suitable Leanring support assistant to join a Pupil Referal Unit based in Sutton.

The purpose of this role is to support a Teacher in a classroom setting, supporting agreed learning activities in one of the core subject.

You will need to be able to support one on one as well as in a classroom. Some work may be carried out outside the classroom and main teaching area.

The pupils in this school do have some mental health issues so previous experience dealing with this is essential.

You will need to be able to Support pupils consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs, encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage all pupils in activities.
