Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant

ASAP start

£75 - £85 per day

We are actively seeking a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant on behalf of an excellent Primary School based in Lambeth.

The Role:

This role entails supporting the class teacher working with groups and one to one, helping to raise attainment and supporting children that may have additional needs. The school is looking for someone who can work on their own initiative, have good interaction with pupils and helpful in supporting the class teacher. You will be set in a class, supporting children with various needs and abilities. We are looking for someone who is flexible, has a positive attitude and high expectations of children.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who meet the following criteria:

  • Must have at least 6 months of experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK School
  • Must have a Degree or Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Can create a stimulating and welcoming learning environment
  • Facilitating learning by differentiation instruction
  • Supporting children with various needs and abilities
  • Flexible and proactive
  • Liaising with the classroom teacher and parents to effectively support children
  • Must have great knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
